The Morning Rush

On Tuesday's Rush, Tony C reacts to the MPSSAA's decision to postpone fall and winter sports in Maryland public high school for the first semester, and how that decision affects schools in West Virginia.

Tony also talks about the Big 12 announcing it's plan for a 9+1 schedule model.

And fallout has begun from a group of Pac-12 football players listing their demands to the conference.

On Monday's Rush, Tony C is joined on the Rush Line by Frostburg State Director of Athletics Troy Dell to discuss the plan for fall sports at FSU and the Mountain East Conference (0:47:34 mark).

Tony also re-lives a depressing Saturday night of sports, and he is fed up with millionaire athletes complaining about how tough they have it during this pandemic.

On Wednesday's Rush, four more Miami Marlins have tested positive for coronavirus, and Tony C looks at how the dominoes have fallen, particularly with the Orioles and Nationals.

We hear from Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera, who held a Zoom press conference on Tuesday.

The guys also talk about how glad they are to have baseball back, and they discuss "floating the river", something Tony experienced for the first time this weekend (and loved it).

On Friday's Rush, Major League Baseball finally returns, but in true 2020 fashion, not without its share of issues.

Tony C talks about the season opener between the Yankees and Nationals, a game played without the Nats' Juan Soto, who tested positive for coronavirus.

Tony also talks about MLB and the MLBPA agreeing to expand the playoffs to 16 teams in 2020.
